::Missing Old Friends::

::Hey! I was just reading Gabe's blog, and it made me realise just how much I miss my friends from the ORPC. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Resurrection Church and all the new/old friends I've made, but I really do miss some of my old friends. Gabe used to be one of my best friends, and I haven't seen him in a year. Ana used to be one of the people I always looked up to, and again, I haven't seen her in forever. Same with Erika. I message her every now and then, but I never see her. I'm very glad to have met them all, and if any of you are reading this I miss you sooo much!! Well that's it. I don't have anything else to say. ::The Latest Update::

::Blog writing is so hard for me. I like to write, but I always try to be too detailed and I get bored of it very quickly. I give up and I don't want to write anymore, and I don't want to go back to my blog because I feel guilty thinking about it. Sometimes being detailed is great, but it's not when you can lose interest quickly. Anyways, enough about that. Update time! Lately one of my favourite things to do is drawing. I like drawing anything I can; animals, people, flowers, my surroundings. Anything I have a picture of or is right in front of me I can do. I CANNOT draw from memory. It looks worse than a two year old. My ballet exam went really well! I got a 76%, which is really good. The exams are graded with the British grading system, and a 40% is a pass for them. A 76% is in the category Distinction, which is the highest category of marks you can get. I was very happy when the marks came back. Dance ended in June, but I needed it. My legs have been terrible from dancing and I had been going to physio all the time and they just needed to rest. I was sad for dance to end for the obvious reason, but I was also sad for it to end because it ending meant one of my best friends was moving away. I had danced with her for 4 years and over the past year and a half we have gotten really close. Saying goodbye was really hard. The hardest part so far was leaving the theatre and knowing that after I walked out the doors, I wouldn't know when I would see her again. I was crying in the change room, but as soon as I was outside it was like I hit a wall and I couldn't breathe. I still talk to her and it hasn't been too hard yet because it is summer vacation and I wouldn't be seeing her much anyways. I'm pretty sure it will be much harder when I go back to class and I don't see her bag in the waiting room and her face when I walk in the studio. Alright, I'm done with emotions. I don't think there's anything else to write about. Byyyyeeee::

::Exams, Chicken, and Booties::

::Who sucks at blogging? I do! I'm terrible at this. I feel like I need to say this every time. I always have so many things to write about, but then I come on and start writing, and my mind goes blank. Huh, let's see. Well, we got a foster kid a week ago. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say her name so I'll call her Chicken. I call her that at home anyways. She's a little Inuit three year old. She can talk perfectly, but she has no front teeth so she speaks with a lisp. Last Sunday me and Chicken were sitting together at Grandpa's when I insisted she was my chicken. She kept disagreeing and saying no. Later that day we were snuggling at home and I asked her if she was my snugglebug and she said, "No, I'm your chicken!" That made me SO happy. She's just so stinkin' cute. My ballet exam is coming up in three weeks, and so far I'm pretty chill. I know I'll probably start freaking out when I'm at the exam studio about to go in, but for now I'm totally fine. I'm just super excited. Recital is coming up and we've started learning some of our dances. That is super exciting. Our jazz dance is my favourite. Two words, special agents. Ah!! It's so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been this excited for a dance. I feel like there's a million others things to talk about but I can think of any. Oh! I've started selling these little baby booties I crochet. ::Physio and Movies::

::Well, not much has changed since the last post. I've almost gotten over my cold. Colds stink. I've also been going to physio for the past 2 months. I've had knee problems for over a year and I finally did something about it. Apparently it's just growing. I've been growing a lot lately and it's hard on my muscles. My IT band is really tight so it's pulling on my knee cap and if I had kept going and not done anything about it it could have popped my knee cap out of place. My physio person gave me some exercises to strengthen my muscles and told me to roll out my IT band on the foam roller. My shin has also been hurting a lot and the physio thinks its the quad muscle attached to my shin pulling on the bone because it's being stretched out from all the growing. She said there's nothing to do for that except to stop growing. I've also had tendinitis in my feet for a couple years and I went to ortho when I first found out I had it and got inserts, but because it's just ortho they didn't give me any exercises so it isn't completely better and still buggs me a bit. At first my physiotherapist told me to just do a bunch of rises and exercises with theraband to strengthen everything. Then my achilles were bugging me and I was having trouble doing more than 16 rises which is weird because I'm a dancer and am always doing things like that. So she has me standing on the bottom step, raising myself on 2 feet and lowering on 1. Well there is your blurb about my defective legs. I'm taking a ballet exam in April and it's super exciting and SUPER scary. We're working super duper hard to make sure we've got our exercises down pat and we're doing everything well. It's a lot of work but I'm excited. Not sure what else to say. OH!! I'm SOOOOOOO excited for the new Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson. It will be SO weird though cuz Emma is Hermione, always was always will be, but she's going to be Belle. So weird. I said it was like Hermione with one of Hagrid's beasts. That disgusted Leah. Heheh. Ok. I'm done. Babye::

::Fainting and Colds::

::It hasn't been too long since I've last written. I'm currently sitting on the couch with a cold. Fun huh? This morning I fainted. I have head rushes sometimes, but usually I say conscious. This time I grabbed the counter like I normally do with headrests, and then woke up on the floor to mom shouting my name. I felt perfectly normal afterwards. Weird. Anyways. I also got new phone. Connor got a new phone so I got his old one. Way better than my Samsung, which hardly worked at all anyways. This one is an LG G3. Of course I've made my lock screen and home screen Slytherin. Who wouldn't? That was rhetorical. I know many people who wouldn't. Like Sara, she's a Hufflepuff. She would rather have Hufflepuff everywhere, but we all know Slytherin is better. I don't think there is anything else to talk about. That's all the updates I have. Oh! Eva. She's still stinking adorable and squishy and amazing. Ok. Now I'm done. See ya::

:Continuation of Last Post::

::I realized after I published the last post that I titled it Babies, Christmas and more or whatever I said, and only talked about Eva and Christmas. I thought of two things I was also going to talk about, but I forgot one of them. The one I remember is my birthday. I turned 14 a week and a half ago. It was a lot of fun. I opened my presents, hung around home, went out for lunch with a friend and just hung out with her and my mok until I went to dance. Not sure what else to say. That's the only thing I remember forgetting. That's weird remember forgetting. Oh well. That's what happened. Ah. Yes. I was just going give an update on what my life is like. I'm normally busy with school. High-school, homeschooling or not is a lot of work. If I'm not doing school I'm dancing, playing the piano, painting, or trying to figure out what my next Instagram post is going to be. Interesting life, huh? It's nothing special but it's my life and I couldn't be happier. I hope you're all as happy with your lives as I am. Talk to y'all later::

::Christmas, Babies and more::

::Yo!! So much has been going on!! First big thing is Eva. She was born at 11:43 p.m. on Christmas. She just made it as a Christmas baby. I got to see her in the hospital today. She is so tiny and cute and gorgeous. I could spend the entire post gushing about her, but I won't bore you. All I can say is I'm in love with my very first girl cousin already. I made myself a Slytherin hat and a pair of Slytherin mittens. They are now my favourite article of anything. I'm definitely obsessed. Oh well. Deal with it. Hmm. What else... Well, there is Christmas. Our normal tradition is that everyone will come over Christmas Eve and sleep over. This year was differentbecause it was on a Sunday and we were waiting for Eva. Knonker and Grandpa  slept over from Friday to today. Sunday morning we opened our presents before going to church. Aunty Katie was having contractions during church so she went to Grandpa's early. Afterthe service we all went to the arboretum for sledding. Only Aunty Katie, Uncle Dave and Aunt Amanda stayed behind. Everyone else came. I actually only went down the hill on a sled once and even then it was only half the hill. I was on the zipfy and only made it half way down before I was spun off and slid down the rest of the way on my bottom. That was the only time I went on a sled. All the other times I penguin slid down the whole hill. It was that icy. Just a warning, if you are ever going to try it you'll want strong abbs. Otherwise you will die. After sledding everyone came to our house and we opened the rest of our presents. Knonker got a Samsung Gear VR so we played with that for a while at Peter's place(the loft above our garage). Just as we were going back to the house Aunty Katie and Uncle Dave were getting in the car to go to the hospital. They got to the hospital at 8 and had a baby by 11:43. Today was fairly chill besides visiting Aunty Kate and Eva. At the moment I'm sitting here writing, in a house 4 other Van Dyks and 2 van der Meers. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I will write again when I write again. Mwah::

::HALLOWEEN::

::HALLOWEEN!!!!! Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Well, it's fun every year. This year I went as Hermione Granger.

It took me an hour to braid all my hair. Imagine how long it would have taken if I still had long hair!! It was crazy as usual with all of the little kids running around. We were all going, 'Where's Declin''Where's Ewan'

I still had a load of fun even though I wasn't trick-or-treating. Me and Leah may or may not have gone to a few houses for candy. We shared a bag, so we didn't get a lot of candy, but we got a pretty good amount for nontrick-or-treaters. We only went for 2 hours, so we were home by 7:30/8. It was short, but the younger ones still got a whack load of candy. Gabe has a huge drawer full of candy STILL. Anyways, it is time for us to leave for church. Have a good Sunday::

::Houses::

::So I heard that a certain someone said Gryffindor sucks, Slytherin is the best. And if YOU(you know who you are) were paying attention, you would have seen that I never said Gryffindor is the best. I only said that Gryffindor was what I would be in. I also didn't say that the ONLY house I would be in was Gryffindor, I will have you know that am equal parts Slytherin and Gryffindor. Which is kinda ironic because those are the two houses that hate each other the most, but oh well. Can't change what I am! I would be Pansy Parkinson(a Slytherin)but sadly, I'm stuck with Gryffindor because that's the only tie I have:/ you've gotta work with what you have. This is reminding me I have to get the wand I made out of the van. I still haven't done that. We were camping in September and since it was cold there wasn't too much to do unless you wanted to go swimming(no one did) so I started peeling the bark off a stick and it gave me the idea of a wand. So I kept peeling and 'carving'(making a pointy tip) until I was satisfied. I'm hoping they didn't accidentally get thrown away. I'll find out, won't I? Anyway. That's all I had to say::

::Party Pictures::

::Sorry I haven't posted. I've been waiting for pictures from the party I went to. There's a lot of them and my friend is still trying to figure out how to put them on her computer without crashing it. So, in case you're wondering, that's why I haven't written. We had the first really snow fall today!!!!!!!! It didn't stay on the ground very long though:( That made me sad. I'm hoping it snows again soon. Halloween is in a few days!! I don't know if I mentioned that I'm being a Hogwarts student or not. I wouldn't be surprised if I had. Anyways, that's what I'm dressing up as even though I'm not trick or treating anymore. Sadly, last year was my last year for trick or treating. I told the kids they had to get twice as much candy since they wouldn't have my two bags of candy anymore. I'm still dressing up because that was one of my favourite parts. That and walking around with family were my favourite parts....ok, I did like the candy too;p Not much else exciting has happened since then. Once I get the pictures I will post and if Halloween comes before that, I will post Halloween pictures. See ya::

::I'm writing again and it's only been a day!! I don't really have anything to write but I'm bored and I felt like writing. I actually have to leave in fifteen minutes for a red carpet themed party. I'm REALLY excited. Especially since I was one of the organizers. I'm not sure what else to say. Bye!!::

::HARRY POTTER::

::I seem to say this a lot but, I suck. I feel like I can't write unless something eventful happens, and then I have trouble putting it down in words. My life is also very uneventful. It's a great life and very busy, but not very eventful. I've decided I would start writing even if it was going to be a bunch of none sense. I really want to write, I'm just not very good and I don't really have pictures to post or anything, but I will start trying to write whatever I feel like writing. That's basically what this post was about. Now I need to come up with a title. I can never figure that out either. It's harder than the actual post. Oh, I just thought of something! .......Never mind. I forgot what it was. Ooo, I have a new thing to try. Instead of doing a tip to remember or you'll regret it I'm going to do a Harry Potter fact/question. I know nobody reads my blog anymore and even if they did no one knows Harry Potter very well[:o] or doesn't know it all. If you haven't, I am a huge Potterhead and have completely fangirled on it. If I was a wizard at Hogwarts(School of Witchcraft and Wizardry) I would be in Gryffindor(one of the houses), I would be muggle-born(that means I would be born from a non-wizard family, muggle means humans), I would be best friends with George Weasley(Harry Potter's best friend's older brother), and would be a Hogwarts professor when I graduate. ::Everyday Life::

::Hello! It's been a little while. Everyday life around here is life. As you probably know, Grammie passed away about a month ago. Life hasn't been as normal as normal life is. Ever since February 11, life has been weird, not normal, harder. Life is getting more normal in a weird way. Nothing will ever be the same normal, I know. Anyway, life has been going on. Like I said in my last post, there was performance on the 9th with a sale afterwards. All of my baked goods got sold, and I got rid of all my owls! I also sold most of my flower clips and a few bows. The performance went really well! According to my mom, I was really good at the part I danced. I had so much fun. Yesterday was busy. We went and picked up Avi at 9:30 in the morning, and dropped her off at her house at 1 this afternoon. She slept on me most of the service and snored VERY loudly. Ana also came over Saturday after dinner and slept over. It was a lot of fun and I found another person who shares my passion of Heartland. I am actually watching it as I write. It is one of the best shows ever created. As you probably know, this week is March break, so we get to somewhat chillax. It's still going to be busy though. Tomorrow we're going to go hang out with Aunty Katie, Tuesday I have a babysitting course from 10-4, and then Thursday my Youth Group is going lazer tagging at a place called Lazer Quest. The babysitting course is so that I can babysit foster kids we get. Our worker thinks I'll be able to watch foster kids once I do a babysitting course. Mom was very excited about that and found the babysitting course that was the soonest. I have to bring a life sized doll or teddy bear(lol). The dolls I used to play with as a kid are finally going to come in handy. I'm nervous but excited to see what I'm going to learn. I know that I'm going to learn CPR. That's an important thing to learn, but I don't know what else there is. I also have a costume party on Saturday. I've never been to a costume party so I'm excited. I'm going as an elf. Not the happy Santa Clause elves but one of the more Lord of the Rings-y kind. All I need to complete the costume is a good pair of shoes. That's pretty much what life is going to be like for me. ::Life Update::

::Hello Everybody!! As you can tell from the title of this post, this is life update. So I think the last time I posted was January 18 and now it's February 5, so it hasn't been that long since I last wrote, but it's still longer than I like. So....... what's happened since the last time I posted?  We've been working on our Spring Ballet(The Victory), and it's a lot of fun, and I'm so happy that I can be in it. We went and stayed at Aunty Sarah's for a few days while mom and dad were on a ski trip, and we had an eventful Wednesday. I had a performance on the 27th, and I can't really think of anything else. Oh, one of our foster girls is going home on Monday. That's sad, but we think we'll be able to see her a lot still. We're having a bake sale/clothes sale/preview performance March 9th for dance and there's a talent show thingy March 4th for our church. That's pretty much it so far. I hope everyone's had a great February/end of January so far and I will hopefully write later. Bye::

::IT'S DECEMBER::

::Hello everybody! It's December!! There is only 14 days left until my birthday not including today and the 16th. I'll be 13!! I can't believe it! I'll be a teenager! I'm so excited. There is also only 23 days until Christmas day. I can't wait!! We're going to Montreal again and we're staying at the same place. We loved it so much last year that we're doing it again. With December comes most of our performances. I have nine performances in December! I can't wait! The soonest is tomorrow. We have a performance at a retirement home. Then we have performances on the third, , ninth, eleventh, thirteenth and twentieth. You might be like, wait, that's not nine, that's only seven, but we have two on the ninth and the thirteenth. I'm SO excited! Please be praying that no one will get sick or injured. We need to be health and whole for our performances. I sprained my ankle the twenty-first and I thought I wouldn't be able to perform on the twenty-fifth, but God healed my ankle enough for me to dance. I am so thankful. I am completely better no and have absolutely no pain. With December comes many things. It also bring St. Nicks. I can't wait for that. December is an amazing month. As I'm writing this my mom is just putting the finishing touches on our tree. I think it looks amazing. I'll take a picture of the big tree and then a picture of the kids'(me included) tree. ::Company Performances::

::Hello y'all! As you can see, this post is about my performances. I've done two performances so far! One was November 7th somewhere in Algonquin College. It was for a Christian group thing called Gracefield. This one wasn't a Christmas  ballet and for some reason we don't think of it as a REAL company performance. I don't know why. I think it's because it wasn't a Christmas ballet and apparently they've never done a non-Christmas ballet in the first term of Company. The second performance was on Wednesday(25) at the West Ottawa Community Church. The WOCC is also my dance school. It was a fundraiser for Arise and for the Company. This one was a Christmas ballet. The ballet is call Heaven Everywhere It was so much fun. If any of you want to see it, it's up on YouTube. ::Dance Year 2015::

::The dance year of 2015 has begun!!!!! I love it. Monday was my very first day, and it was so much fun. I'm dancing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday's I'm babysitting for the moms that are taking classes. Wednesday and Friday are the Arise Youth Ballet rehearsal days. The Company is SO much fun. I LOVE it. We've already learned one whole dance. It's a really fun dance. It's just as much acting as it is dancing. I can't wait to learn more dances and perform them for people. I hope everyone had a good summer! Bye::

::As promised here is my recital. I'll give you the whole show in case you want to watch the whole thing. I'll give you what parts my dances are. My first dance is jazz, and it's Part 1. This one was my favourite. Unfortunately we didn't dance it very well. We were all angry at ourselves.  My second is Part 6. This one is contemporary. I think we did a good job.
